Each channel provides a logic level input and an open collector output. This unique combination allows pin read-back capability while allowing software configuration of I/O direction on a line-by-line basis. The JIO-T64B-01 board is addressed as eight 8-bit input and eight 8-bit output ports that occupy eight consecutive port locations. The base address is DIP-switch selectable.
